Caribasket.com’s Guess Who’s back
Along with the aforementioned names from the Caribasket.net Collegiate All-Bahamas First team and Second teams, there are some more Bahamian college hoopsters who deserve recognition simply for making it to the second rung. Bear in mind when talking basketball at this level, the higher up you go the less “scrubs” there are…If you see a player wearing a college uniform, it is probably a basketball reason behind why he/she is wearing it, plain and simple. There arent a lot of coaches that recruit and play players simply because of their personality…Especially if they are from a foreign country. Felix “Fly” Musgrove - Coach’s Corner
One of the smoothest and most successful transitions from a marquee player to a marquee coach in Bahamian basketball history is the one successfully competed by Felix “Fly” Musgrove. One of the younger siblings within one of the more athletically dominant families in Bahamian history, the Musgrove name has roots in sporting success. Given the name “Fly” for his propensity to take off and finish on or over a defender in his younger days, Musgrove had his way on the basketball court for the St. John’s College Green Giants. After illin’ the Bahamian high school scene, he took his game to Georgia to Truin-Mccartney College for a year.
