Anthony Swaby - Coach Interview

Whether he admits it or not…and he probably won’t….Anthony Swaby is a Caribbean Basketball coaching legend. Coach Swaby is an alumni of the school on the hill, St. Augustine’s College, and despite never playing at any level of basketball besides recreational, it has never stopped him from leading his team to victory.

Swaby is the premier womens coach in the country and quite possibly the region, having accomplished a rare feat to go along with his myriad of other basketball accomplishments.

Coach Swaby is the only coach in the history of Caricom competition to have led two different countries to gold medals (The Bahamas and Jamaica). And just to let you know, Four gold, three silver and four bronze medals can and will complete anybodies collection…in anything. (more…)
