Valentino Hart, along with having one the best names ever, is also one of the better and more pro ready prospects to come from the Bahamas in recent years. You name it and Hart has probably played in it. 5 years as either a member of the Bahamian Junior National or National Team, An NCAA Tournament participant, a Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champion, an all Bahamian National Tournament Selection and an award winner in the ultra tough JayHawk Conference. Needless to say, Hart has a sound basketball resume.
Now that Hart is done with the collegiate ranks, he is now looking to move to the next level. Hart runs the floor, defends the post, blocks shots and makes 17 footers, hooks and free throws with relative ease. Mix in quite a bit of Bahamian athleticism and you have a legitimate pro prospect. Whilst his numbers at the college level didn’t fully reflect and display his array of skills, it is common for players to have to sacrifice some of the personal aspects of their game to plug into a successful collegiate system. Many of these same players excel at the international level once given the opportunity or touches at the professional level…We feel Hart is one of those individuals.
